Quality goes beyond beverage

For the past 13 years, Octane founders/owners/baristas Tony and Diane Riffel have remained committed to the craft and their understanding that quality isn't just about product; it's also about building community. In 2011, the Riffels joined forces with coffee roaster Brett Burton to begin roasting coffee in-house and it's been a rewarding journey ever since. Brett, having spent months in Guatemala on a coffee farm before starting his own roasting business in Birmingham prior to Octane, was super passionate about working more intimately with coffee producers and showcasing their delicious coffees.
